October 24 Minutes

MINUTES

OCTOBER 24, 2006 BOARD CONFERENCE CALL
BEDDINGTON LAKE EAST HOME OWNERS ASSOCIATION

FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS
Three Board members participated in the meeting (President, Treasurer and Secretary), linked via phone conference call.

OLD BUSINESS
No old business was conducted during this meeting.

NEW BUSINESS

Treasurer Brian Govang reported that payments of annual lot assessments by Association members have come in ahead of last year’s pace. To date, only one lot owner still owes the assessment fee. The first overdue notice was sent October 15. The second notice will be mailed November 24. The Treasurer also reported that the Association’s bank balance as of 10/24/06 was $9,615.28.

It was noted that a substantial amount of brush has been cut along Eagle’s Cove Road. It’s unknown who performed this work, but the effort is greatly appreciated.

A sizable pothole has formed near lot 49 on the main road. There are no current plans to repair this hole until the Spring, so the Board cautions anyone traveling down the road in this area to drive slowly and carefully. If possible, another inspection of the site will be made in a few weeks to observe the hole’s growth, if any, and determine whether a repair sooner than next Spring is needed.

The Board welcomes Joan Hildreth and Lucille Atwell (new owners of lot 67) to the Association!

It was agreed that the next Board meeting (via conference call) will be conducted Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at 7 pm.
