Approve prior meeting minutes
The board voted unanimously to approve minutes of the prior meeting.

Treasurer's Report
There is currently a $14,978.18 balance as of March 31.

All dues for 2016 have been collected except for one camp which has been sold. Jean is continuing to work on that.

Road Conditions/Priorities
The board received a note from member Steve Grossi indicating concerns about the condition of the road.  As noted at our last meeting, there are currently two families are living year-round on the road.  The Board reiterated that year-round use introduces additional wear on the road and thus additional maintenance costs.  In effect, each year-round resident introduces significantly more road wear and thus maintenance costs than each seasonal resident.  Given this, and since the number of year-round families may increase in the years ahead, the board discussed the possibility of introducing an amendment to the Bylaws by which year-round residents could be assessed an increased annual dues amount to reflect this additional cost.  The board will discuss further at our next meeting.

Marlene will follow up with Herb Jordan regarding an estimate for hard pack gravel on Shorey Brook hill as previously discussed, as well as his opinion on the impact of snow plowing.

Marlene talked with Debbie Burgoyne, who indicated that the paper company’s plan is still to replace the Shorey Brook culvert with a bridge this fall.

In regards to a backup contractor, Marlene identified Randy Perry as a potential resource.  Peter will contact him for more information.

Election of Officers
So far no candidates to replace Marty Lamarche as secretary have been identified.  Board members will continue to reach out for volunteers.

Annual Meeting
The annual meeting will be August 5th at 10am.  Peter will reach out to the town to reserve the town hall.

Peter will assemble the mailing, to go out no earlier than June 16th.  Jean to have the treasurer’s report to Peter by May 30.

We are looking for a volunteer to host the annual picnic.

Other Business
New dump stickers are required for 2017.  Contact Neil Butler to obtain one.

Adjourn
Next meeting is set for June 14.  The Board voted unanimously to adjourn.

Respectfully submitted,

Peter Aten, President
