Annual Board Meeting Minutes

Saturday, August 11, 2012  10:00am

Beddington Town Hall, Rte. 193

Board in Attendance:  Peter Aten, President; Win Stevens, Vice President; Jean Heath, Treasurer; and Steve Grossi, Secretary

Peter Aten welcomed everyone to the meeting

Neil Butler, Beddington First Selectmen, updated association members on town business.

Meeting called to order by Peter Aten, President. 

Agenda:

1) Acceptance of the minutes from last year's meeting (August 2011)

2) Review of the Treasurer's Report

3) Review of completed and pending road maintenance

4) Setting maintenance priorities and scheduled for the next year

5) Voting on the annual assessment amount

Peter asked for a motion to accept last year's Annual Meeting (08/06/2011) minutes, Marlene Sullivan seconded the motion, all in favor.

Jean Heath gave the Treasurer report:  Checking account balanced.  We did not have to pay income tax this year.

Treasurer's Report:

Beginning balance:      $ 24,315.02

Deposited:                     3,550.00

Interest:                              49.19

Expenses:                      5,611.56

Ending Balance:        $ 22,355.00

A few expenses that are due now:

Herb Jordan: $1,024.00

Accountant: 100.00

Motion for the Treasurer's Report to be accepted and approved, all in favor.

Road Conditions:

Herb Jordan graded the main road, along with Eagle Cove and Shorey Brook Road as needed. Marlene Sullivan mentioned Wyman's had also graded road the main road, she stopped the driver and thanked him personally.  A formal thank you note will be sent to Wyman's on behalf of the association by Sandra Grossi.

Peter Aten recommended the Association donate $100.00 to the Town of Beddington, Fire Department.  Peter also made a motion that the annual fee be kept at $50.00, Win Stevens seconded motion, the members of association was in favor of donation and the yearly assessment of $50.00.
