The lower picture is postmarked 1958 but it could be an earlier photo (the cars are a clue-- late 40's? early 50s?). The reverse says:

'The Airline Snack Bar/Store, Beddington, Maine On Route 9 ("The Airline") 38 miles from Bangor -- 55 miles from Calais. Lead Mountain (known to oldtimers as Hump Back Mountain) in the background.

The top picture is definately later-- looks more like today's Airline. Due to the snowmobile reference, I'd guess late 60's or early 70s...the back reads:

Airline Snack Bar, Route 9, Beddington, Maine 04622 Tel (207) 638-2301 40 miles East of Bangor- 58 miles west of Calais. Truck stop, gas, diesel oil, Home cooking, pies, donuts, bread, Hunting, Fishing, campting country, State groomed snowmobile trails. Open 7 days a week.

Funny how the mileage shifted!!!!
